Madilynn Burks, L.E., Owner
Madilynn became an esthetician after her dad jokingly told her to go pop pimples for a living, since she loved doing that so much. So, she did and hasn’t looked back. Madilynn graduated from the Summit Salon Academy in Kokomo in January 2018 and has been working as an esthetician since.
She opened MJR Skincare 101 in 2019 as a solo adventure. In 2021, she hired her first esthetician, and in 2022, she moved into her multi-room spa location and hired more employees.
Madilynn knows firsthand what it’s like to struggle with acne, which is another reason she was inspired to become an esty. She loves helping her clients feel more confident and reach their skin goals, educating them, and helping them vent and relax during treatments. She’s always learning and improving her skills to ensure she’s delivering the best for her clients, and she will always be honest about the best treatments and products for their skin concerns. Madilynn strives to ensure every client feels welcome and comfortable.
In her spare time, Madilynn loves to travel, go to concerts and musical festivals with her husband, Tanner, and friends, have a night in with her pets and play board games or puzzles. Her favorite ways to practice self-care are by getting monthly massages, taking bubble baths, coloring and shutting off her phone.
